XP Circles (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by the XP Circles team in Seattle, Washington. Privacy requests go straight to the core team so we can respond quickly as the product evolves.

We do not collect your contact list or track background location outside of active use. Card numbers and full billing details are never sent to us; Apple securely processes payments and shares only tokenized receipts.

3. How we use your data

Purpose-built for XP Circles

  • Deliver the core experience: curate pods, generate daily recommendations, and enable in-app chat.
  • Process subscriptions: validate Apple Pay/App Store receipts, keep your premium access active, and handle billing inquiries.
  • Maintain safety: monitor for policy violations, rate limiting, and suspicious activity.
  • Communicate with you: send onboarding tips, pod drop reminders, and product updates (marketing updates are optional).
  • Improve XP Circles: analyze aggregated usage patterns and feedback to tune future releases.
  • Comply with law and policy: respond to valid legal requests and enforce community rules.

We do not sell your personal information. Data is only shared with trusted infrastructure providers that support app operations and are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.

4. Retention

Minimal retention windows

  • Active account data: kept while you maintain an account.
  • Feedback & analytics: anonymized or deleted when no longer needed unless legally required.
  • Account deletion: deleting your account triggers removal of profile info, pods, and stats from our databases within 30 days.

Any exported JSON you download remains solely on your device.

5. Your choices & rights

You stay in control

  • Profile control: update your profile details, notification preferences, and availability at any time.
  • Location access: revoke location permissions from system settings—some features may stop working without location data.
  • Notifications: disable marketing or weather alerts inside the app, or turn off XP Circles notifications from your device settings altogether.
  • Data export & deletion: use the profile screen to export your data or permanently delete your account. You may also email support@xpcircles.com for support.
  • Opting out: contact us to fully remove any remaining data and feedback artifacts.

6. Security

Layers of protection

We use HTTPS for all network calls and employ industry-standard authentication, storage, and integrity controls. Access to user data is limited to authorized team members. While no system is perfectly secure, we continuously monitor for unusual activity and apply security updates.

7. International participants

Hosted in the U.S.

Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you join from outside the U.S., you consent to storing and processing your information there, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

8. Updates

We’ll keep you informed

We may revise this notice as XP Circles evolves. Significant changes will be shared in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you consent to the updated policy.
